Therapeutic Adolescent Services
The challenge of adolescence is to come out the other side with a foundation of strategies for successfully navigating adulthood. An arrest in adolescence provides an opportunity for vulnerable adolescent males and females to be provided with a solid and well-rounded foundation for making healthy, prosocial choices in challenging circumstances. NIC’s wide range of court-ordered treatments provides this foundation through dynamic therapists / trainers, who integrate the NIC Model with a practical, hands-on learning style and application in each program. The vast majority of NIC’s adolescent clients very quickly realize their arrest is an opportunity to fill in the missing pieces of their decision-making for a more successful outcome on the other side of predictable adolescent challenges.

Provided the proper tools to embrace their grief honestly, and work through the many painful ‘tales’ associated with their loss, many of NIC’s adolescents have been able to set aside criminal thinking and self-sabotage, and embrace the life they left at the grave of their loved one.
